Total number of planets = 8

Number of planets that have their moons = 6

Percentage of planets which have their moons
= No.of planets having moons / Total no.of planets * 100 %
= 6/8 * 100%
= 3/4 * 100%
= 3 * 25%
= 75%.

75% of planets have their own moons.

astrobabe: I did the question wroing it's really 8 planets and 6 moons
dhruvsh: no problem but the answer will be the same
astrobabe: Thank you! ^^

total no. of planets given =8
no. of planets having moons=6
percent =no. of planets having moons ÷total no. of planets given × 100

= 6÷8×100
= 75%

astrobabe: It's actually 8 planets and 6 moons. I put it wrong could you do it over?
