Answer:

60 degree

Step-by-step explanation:

ange A plus angle B will equal to 180 degree (sum of same side of transversal is 180 degree).

angle a =2angle b

b +2b=180

3b=180

b=60degree

angle b equalto angle d

angle d equal to 60 degree

Given:

parallelogram ABCD in which 3∠A = 2∠B

To Find:

value of ∠D.

Solution:

We know,

in a parallelogram, the sum of adjacent angles is 180.

∴ ∠A +∠B = 180

   ∠C + ∠B = 180

   ∠C + ∠D = 180

   ∠A + ∠D = 180

it is given,

3∠A = 2∠B

⇒ 3x = 2x

now,

∠A + ∠B = 180

⇒ 2x + 3 x = 180

⇒ 5x = 180

⇒ x = 180/5

⇒ x = 36

then, ∠A = 2x = 2 × 36 = 72°

∠B = 3x = 3 × 36 = 108°

also,

  ∠A + ∠D = 180

⇒ 72 + ∠D  = 180

⇒ ∠D = 180 - 72

⇒ ∠D = 108°

Hence, the angle D is equal to 108°.
