solution-

=>$x\: +\: 3x° +\: 20° \: = \: 180°$

=> $x\: +\: 3x\: =\: 180°\: -\: 20°$

=> $4x\: =\: 160°$

=> $x\: = \frac {160}{4} = 40°$
