Construction:-
AB || MN is drawn passing through x

We know
Area of a parallelogram = 2(area of a triangle)
When the both the ||gm and the triangle have same base and lie within the same parallels

Area of ||gm AMNB
= 2(area of XMN)

Area of ||gm ABOP
=2(area of PXO)

Area of ||gm PMNO
= area of ||gm AMNB
+area of ||gm ABOP

= 2(area of XMN)+ 2(area of PXO)
=2(area of XMN + area of PXO)
=2(10) cm^2
=20 cm^2
