In photo system-1, the electron acceptor is ferridoxin.
Ferridoxin accepts electrons from the clusters of 4Fe -4S. In this process of photo synthesis-1 the NADP+ is reduced to NADPH.
Ferridoxin is an electron carrier which is a water soluble.
Thus produced NADPH is used in Calvin cycle.
This Transfer of electrons takes place when chloroplasts get activated or exited.
