Stress is Defined as the Amount of deforming force Applied to a Particular area of the body. It is the Ratio of the Deforming Force to the Area Affected.

The Restoring Force Developed inside an Elastic body per unit area of the Surface of the body is known as Stress.

There are 4 types of Stress

1) Time Stress

2) Encounter Stress

3) Situational Stress

4) Anticipatory Stress
