In places of hot climate the outer walls of the house are painted white as we know that the white colour reflects the rays of the sun where as darker colours absorb the heat rays so if dark colours are painted then the outer walls will absorb the heat and the house will get warmer whereas house with lighter or white colours will reflect heat so the house will be comparatively cooler.
