In plant cell ,plastid perform many function like photosynthesis ,storage of substance etc

plant required to make their own food via photosynthesis which was done in chloroplast(a type of plastid)

but animal are heterotrophic ..they dont make their own food..they depend on other organism for food

leucoplast(a type of plastid)whuch was present in plant have a function of storage like storage of starch,protein etc

but aniaml has specialized cell for storage..or animal store food in different cell..just like storage of fat on adipocytes cell

so animal do not need to make their own food ..and store their food in specialized cell not in cell organelles just like in case of plant

so animal cell dont require plastid
