Apomictic parthenogenesis is an example of apomixis which doesn't involve meiosis. In this, the egg cell reproduces with the help of mitosis and without fertilization, it grows into an embryo. It mimics sexual reproduction in a way that its egg fertilizes direct into an embryo from the nucleus.
