This statement said by Dr.B.R Ambedkar is a true and very apt in practical sense . All the citizens of our country are politically equal. our constitution gives us equal rights such as equal voting rights and equality in terms of freedom and education etc.. . Politically all citizens are equal but in reality the caste based differences still exists in our society .Many people still have beliefs about untouchability , religious and gender and caste based differences etc... . Making laws is easy but implementing is a very tough job in such a large country like india
