by applying the use of appropriate formula we can find out cos ∅ very easily as well as less time taking!!
Sin²∅ + cos²∅ = 1
=> ( 1/2 )² + cos²∅ = 1
=> 1/4 + cos²∅ = 1
=> cos²∅ = 4 - 1 = 3/4
