in potassium permanganate experiment we saw that in hot water it spreads easily due to the increased kinetic energy of water particles as compared toparticles of potassium permanganate which has less kinetic energy but in cold sizzling food experiment the particles of colds gas has less kinetic energy as compared to air particles which have high kinetic energy then why its not diffusing faster

when we boil the water the molecule in water will move faster with great kinetic energy, when it is moving in kinetic energy, the molecule will react faster than that of cold water since cold water has low kinetic energy
