Given :   ∆pqr  ∠P =100°

PM bisect ∠P

PM ⊥ QR

To Find  : ∠Q

Solution:

∠P =100°

PM bisect ∠P

=> ∠QPM = (1/2)∠P

=> ∠QPM = (1/2)100°

=> ∠QPM = 50°

PM ⊥ QR

=> ∠PMQ = 90°

in Δ PQM

∠QPM + ∠PMQ + ∠Q = 180°

=> 50° + 90°  +  ∠Q = 180°

=>  ∠Q =40°
