In production of washing soda, first we get sodium hydrogencarbonate and then after two more steps we get sodium carbonate decahydrate but my question is that why don't we use that sodium hydrogen carbonate which is obtained in the production of washing soda ? Why do we prepare sodium hydrogen carbonate by another reaction ?​
