'c' denotes the constant term.
Given equation : 4x² - 2x + k + 7
We can also write the equation as :
( 4 )x² + ( - 2 )x + ( k + 7 )
On comparing with ax² + bx + c, we get
a = 4, b = - 2, c = k + 7

I meant that there are 4 terms and from that how can I locate C
Except the coefficient of x² and x, all come under the C. For example : 3x² - x + 3k² + 2k - 5, in this equation, c = 3k² + 2k - 5.
