since ac is diameter therefore it divides the circle into 2 semi circle and according to the theorem angle formed in a semi circle is 90 degree.

in triangle adc

angle adc +angle dac +angle acd = 180

50+90+angle acd =180

angle acd =180-140

therefore angle acd=40

hope it helps you

A diameter divides a circle into 2 semi circle and according to the theorem angle formed in a semi circle is 90 degree.

In Δ adc

∠ adc +∠ cad + ∠acd = 180

90+50+∠ acd =180

∠ acd =180-140

∴∠acd=40

Ans:- ∠acd=40
