To prove: ABCD IS a parallelogram,
construction : join A to C
proof: In triangle ABC and CDA, we have
AB= CD. (given)
BC=AD (given )
AC=AC (common)
so,triangle ABC congruent CDA
SO, Angle BAC = Angle DCA.
But, these are alternate interior angle.
So, AB||DCA. similarly AD||BC.
Hence, ABCD IS A ||GRAM
