In quantum mechanics time is a classical background parameter and theflow of time is universal and absolute. in general relativity time isone component of four-dimensional spacetime, and the flow of timechanges depending on the curvature of spacetime and the spacetimetrajectory of the observer. how can these two concepts of time bereconciled?any ideas?

*For very detailed explation message me*
Very first attempts to combine general relativity and quantum mehchanics were done by Paul Dirac.
He derived the equations of relativistic quantum mechanics for an electron in an atom. It is now known as the Dirac equation.
Now we have QFT or Quantum Field Theory. I am not going into it but this successfully explains some the phenomena of quantum mechanics and general relativity combined.
Though it is the most successful theory humans have ever made there are certain loopholes and shortcomings of this theory which I would not discuss here.
Now the main problem here is to combine gravity which is described by solely by General relativity with the three fundamental forces which are described by quantum mechanics.
