Bamashah Health Insurance Scheme has been started from December 13, 2015. Cashless health services are provided to eligible families under the scheme. These services are being provided in government private hospitals as well as in private private hospitals. The purpose of this scheme is to reduce the expenditure on the health of the people of the state.

Eligibility for the scheme

Families included in National Food Security Scheme and National Health Insurance Scheme are eligible in this scheme.

Advantage of plan

In the Bamashah Health Insurance scheme, every eligible family is being provided 30,000 rupees for general ailments every year and Rs. 3 lakhs for critical illnesses. In addition to the expenses incurred during the recruitment of the hospital, the expenditure upto 15 days after the recruitment is 7 days before the recruitment.

In this plan 1401 diseases have been included. Apart from this, new packages of more than 300 specialty treatments will also be added, including Nephrology, Gestrology, Neurology and Psychiatry.

Prior to this, only medicines and checks were available in cash in the ongoing schemes, but now in Bhamashah health insurance scheme all the checks, treatment, doctor's fees, operations etc. have been included. Apart from this, the O.P.D. The distribution of cashless medicines has also been arranged at a much larger level than before.

This health insurance scheme of Rajasthan is far better than other such schemes of other states of the country. It also has a number of diseases and checks and more than the states and the fixed amount also. Today this scheme is proving to be life-saving for millions of families across the state.
