The diagram shows the following process in 4 parts.

Part 1 shows (1-2) Isentropic compression- Working fluid is pumped out from low pressure to high pressure.

Part 2 shows(2-3) Isobaric heat addition - The high-pressure liquid enters a boiler where it is heated at constant pressure by an external heat source to become a dry saturated vapour.

Part 3 shows(3-4) Isentropic expansion - The dry saturated vapour expands through a turbine generating power.

Part 4 shows (4-1) -Isobaric heat rejection -The wet vapour then enters a condenser where it is condensed at constant pressure and temperature to become a saturated liquid.

Hence, In part 3 (3-4) we saw it is power generating process . Thus, The difference in enthalpies of turbine inlet and outlet gives work done.
