Given :- In rectangle ABCD, AB = 7 cm, BC = 13 cm .

To Find :- Length of CD ?

Solution :-

from image we can see that, In rectangle ABCD,

→ AB = 7 cm

→ BC = 13 cm

we know that,

  • Opposite side of a rectangle are equal in measure .

since DC is opposite to AB .

therefore, we can conclude that,

→ AB = DC

→ AB = CD

→ CD = 7 cm (Ans.)

Hence, length of CD is equal to 7 cm .

  • All four angles in a rectangle are equal to 90° .
  • Opposite side are parallel .
  • Diagonals are equal .
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breath)
