Step-by-step explanation:

Give that AB=8 cm. BC=6 cm

since ABCD is a rectangle

BC=AD

In triangle ABC

using Pythagoras theorem

h²=p²+b². BD²=AB²+BC²

h²=8²+6²

h²=64+36

h²=100

h=√100=10

therefore BD = 10 cm

Hey Buddy!!!

Given; -

AB = 8 Cm .

BC = 6 Cm .

Now, In Triangle ABD ,

According to the Pythagoras Theorem ,

h ² = + b ²

==> BD² = AB ² + AD²

==> BD ² = 8² + 6²

==> BD ² = 64 + 36

==> BD ² = 100

==> BD = 100

==> BD = 10

Hence, the value of BD is 10cm.

Thank you
