since ABCD is a rectangle
AB= CD and BC=AD
so , x+y = 9 ——-(1)
and x-y =3 ———-(2)
(1)-(2) ==> 2y= 6
therefore, y = 3
by substituting value of y in (1) , x = 9-3 = 6
x=6
y=3
AB= CD and BC=AD
so , x+y = 9 ——-(1)
and x-y =3 ———-(2)
(1)-(2) ==> 2y= 6
therefore, y = 3
by substituting value of y in (1) , x = 9-3 = 6
x=6
y=3
