Answer:

area of triangle= 1/2×base× height

base of triangle ABC =5cm

height of triangle=?

hypotenuse of triangle=8cm

by Pythagoras therom,

8^2=5^2+ height^2

64=25+ height^2

64-25=height^2

31=height^2

√31=height

area of triangle=1/2×b×h

=1/2×5×√31

=1/2×5√31

I am not sure with my answer

if it is correct please mark as brainliest

Step-by-step explanation:

area of triangle = 1/2 * basex height

base of triangle ABC =5cm

height of triangle=?

hypotenuse of triangle=8cm

by Pythagoras therom,

8 ^ 2 = 5 ^ 2 + heigh * t ^ 2

64 = 25 + heigh * t ^ 2

64 - 25 = heigh * t ^ 2

31 = heigh * t ^ 2

sqrt(31) = height

area of triangle le = 1/2 * bh

= 1/2 * 5sqrt(31)

= 1/2 * 5sqrt(31)
