The amount of Adenine is always equal to the amount of Thymine.

The correct answer is thymine.

According to Chargaff's rule, the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) from any cell of any species should exhibit a 1:1 ratio of purine and pyrimidine bases and more uniquely that the concentration of cytosine should be equal to guanine, and the concentration of adenine should be equivalent to thymine. This is also known as base pair rule. This arrangement is witnessed in both the DNA strands.
