let the triangle be right angled at B. Then tan(A)= 3/4.

we know that tan(A)=perpendicular/base.

So, tan(A)=3x/4x.So, perpendicular =3x and base =4x.

From pythagoras theorem=hypotneous= under root (3x)square+(4x)square

hence hypotenuse = 5x.

hence sin(A) = 3x/5x =3/5

also, cos(A) =4x/5x=4/5.
