so,

☻ we should use pythagoras theorem for the correct answer :

ᗷᑕ² = ᗩᑕ² - ᗩᗷ²

ᗷᑕ² = 10² - 8²

ᗷᑕ² = 100 - 64

ᗷᑕ² = 36

$\bold{ᗷᑕ = \: \sqrt{36} }$

⇒ ᗷᑕ = 6
