His second parameter was that
SOME OF THE A-PARICLES APPEARED TO BE DEFLECTED BY SMALL ANGLES....
And since they are not completely rebound so 180 can't be possible.
0 can't be possible because they have been deflected
If 180 isn't possible the no chance for 270.
So a) 90 is your ans....
