In S.I system, the unit of force is dyne, this statement is false,  in general, Pressure is the force acting per unit area therefore in cgs pressure = force / area (dyne/cm^2).

The dyne is a derived unit of force specified in the centimetre–gram–second (CGS) system of units, as well as predecessor of the modern SI.
