In scenario of reflection of light ray, i.e. AB passing from rarer medium(air) to denser medium(hard glass cuboid slab) and comes out through the same rarer medium. The light ray undergoes two refractions. Since the mediums on both sides of the glass slab remain the same therefore the light ray will get laterally shifted without any deviation could be proved using laws of refraction.

a) How can you conclude the phenomenon described above with respect to ray of incidence and emergence?

b) Determine the speed of light through the glass slab, where refractive index of glass slab is 1.5.

c) Discuss phenomenon, if the ray of emergence incidences normally on a plane mirror.
