Solution :-

we know that,

  • if sum of digits of a number is divisible by 9, the given number also divisible by 9 .

so, Daman's cards :-

→ (5 + 4 + x + 6) ÷ 9 = Remainder 0 .

→ (15 + x) ÷ 9 = Remainder 0 .

Possible value of x :-

  • when x = 3 => 15 + 3 = 18 = divisible by 9.

similarly, Chaman's cards :-

→ (3 + 8 + y + 7) ÷ 9 = Remainder 0 .

→ (18 + y) ÷ 9 = Remainder 0 .

Possible value of y :-

  • when y = 9 => 18 + 9 = 27 = divisible by 9.

therefore, value of x is 3 and value of y is 9.

also,

→ Daman's score = 18 .

→ Chaman's score = 27 .
