HEY MATE !!!

here we go :-

given ratio = 5:7 (5/7)

Total no. of girls = 300

let the total number of bøys = x

as we know :-

product of extreme = product of means

5 : 7:: x : 300

300 (7)/ 5

60(7)

= 420

therefore total number of boys is equal to 420

Let the total number of students be x.

No. of boys =\frac{5}{7}x

No. of girls =  x - \frac{5}{7}x = \frac{2}{7}x

According to question,

2/7x = 300

=> x = \frac{300\times7}{2} = 1050

So,

Total no. of students is 1050.

No. of boys = 1050×5/7 = 750 boys
