in science laboratory you want to add concentrated acid with water what precaution and procedure you followed

you should always add acid to water as it is highly exothermic.... if you add water to acid it can lead to excessive local heating and the mixture may splash out...

the precautions are:-

1) wear laboratory glasses
2) gloves
3) lab coat
