Its sneha

Here is ur answer

Sclerenchyma are the dead cells present in plant which donot require any nutrient or energy for its work.

They help to give support and provide strength to the plant as they are composed of hard woody cell.

If they are with intercellular spaces , it's strength which it give to plant decreases. As they donot be so strong to hold a plant with intercellular spaces, so they are without intercellular spaces and have thick lignified walls

Hope it helps
