In single celled organisms diffusion is sufficient to meet all their requirement of food, exchange of gases or removal of waste because it has simple body desing while on the other hand multicellular organisms like humans have a complex body design and the process of diffusion takes a lot of time for the oxygen to diffuse in our body because of the complexity.
Thus, oxygen cannot be tranported to every single part of the body through the process of diffusion unlike in single celled organisms like Ameoba and parameocium.
