in solving x+y=2 and 3x-4y=6, the answer is (2,0). will someone show me how they got (2,0)?

first x+y =2. and the solution = (2,0)
here in solution 2 = x and 0 = y
place them in the equation => x+y=2
=> 2+0 =2 => 2=2
similarly 3x+4y=6. => 3(2)+4(0) = 6
=> 6+0=6. => 6=6

Baphy: sppse. if they just ask, solve x+y=2 and 3x-4y=6,

Take it like a simultaneous equation then multiply (x+y)4=(2)4 then consider it as
eq1=>4x+4y=8                                                                                                  eq2=>3x-4y=6
add=>7x=14(+4y-4y canceled)
x=2
substitute x as 2 in eq1 or eq2
then 3(2)-4y=6
4y=6-6
y=0/4
A(x,y)=(2,0)
when return like a point on a graph...
