In some bio book it isgiven that pitcher plant closes its lid when it traps the insect,but in video it does not closesits lid which is correct

In books they really want to mean about movement for being plants to be carnivorous also they indirectly refer to the other carnivorous plants like Venus trap which actually closes its trap in seconds. But at real the pitcher plant doesn't close its lids. Actually it has pungent scent at the end of its lid so insects get attracted to it and after having that scent the insect falls down inside the pitcher (containing digestive juices) due to neurological effects of that scent.
