In some observations, value of 'g' are measured as 9.81,9.80, 9.82, 9.79, 9.78,9.84,9.79,9.78, 9.79 and 9.80 m/s². Calculate mean absolute errors and percentage error in g.

Explanation:

For mean absolute error, take difference between observations with 9.80 (original value) and divide by no. of observation

so, mean absolute error = 1+0+2+1+2+4+1+2+1+0/10 = 1.4

For percentage error, divide the mean absolute error with the original value, multipled by 100

so, percentage error = 1.4/9.8 × 100 = 140/9.8 = 14.28

hope this will help you.
