In some of the Democratic countries, head of the government is not elected but acquires the headship through heredity. The head of such a country is either a king or queen. Such a democratic country is called a 'Monarchial Democracy'. Can you tell which country is it?

Answer:

  • In a monarchy, a king or queen is Head of State. The British Monarchy is known as a constitutional monarchy. This means that, while The Sovereign is Head of State, the ability to make and pass legislation resides with an elected Parliament.
