In some plants stomata open at night and close during daytime. How do such plants carry out photosynthesis ?

such type of stomata is called scotoactive stomata and these plants undergo CAM (Crassulacean acid metabolism) pathway ,they take CO2 during night and store it and during day time with the help of sunlight and the stored CO2 they perform photosynthesis

in these plants the stomata is closed during day time to prevent loss of water through transpiration . This mechanism is mostly seen in desert plants
