Yes, indeed in some ways a modern school child has a more comfortable life at school than his parents had when they were at school. Times have really changed a lot since our parents were children.Nowadays we all go to good schools and the facilities at our schools such as teaching, sports etc are very comfortable and some of us even go to schools with air conditioned classrooms. When our parents were children, they had to go to schools which were not at all comfortable. They had to go to schools which did not have proper facilities. We all are very lucky to have parents have struggled and have earned money for us to go to good schools. We must learn from them and do well in our studies too.

Answer:

Students now have more syllabus and require to study a lot and this has happened quite recently. When I was in primary school, I felt quite relaxed and had no study pressure but my juniors now have a more difficult syllabus and they get school projects regularly in every subject. There is added pressure because they have to take part in NCC/scouts and guides. In middle school or secondary school, students have assignments and tests every week and also have many projects. Students rather spend more time doing homework and projects and have less time to study. Students are also required to participate in many extra co curricular activities too and many students are unable to manage them along with their academics. In senior secondary school, there is an added pressure of preparing for competitive exams too along with their board exams. The competition is getting tougher every year and so is the academic stress too.
