In space there are so many shining objects like sun , moon , stars and soon but still space is black. why ???

Well, this is a good question;

When I was in 7th or 8th I too doubted this matter;

So, to understand this question well, we'll need to think about the size of the space or the universe.

Space is entirely a vacuum, that means there is nothing, except the Planets, stars and many other celestial objects

And now, Why is space black, even though there are stars??

There can be 2 reasons;

First can be that as space is vast and the star's light is very dim as compared to the size of the space. E.g., Take a very big hall, then turn off all the light source and try turn on just a small led bulb.

What will you notice?? Yes, you will only able to see a small dot may be a few things, but then also the room remains dark...

And, space looks black because there is no nearby bright source of light, like the Sun, to be scattered

But In space, there are many stars... Yes, there are many stars and other light sources. But the size of the space is much much bigger than that of the hall.

In combined we can say the sky may not be bright with the visible light of all the stars is because when a source of light is moving away from you, the wavelength of that light is made longer. This means that the light from stars that are moving away from us will become shifted towards red, and may shift so far that it is no longer visible at all.

And the second reason can be that space doesn't have an atmosphere, so, the light doesn't refract through anything. and we can see any light.

If there are 20 hours in a area if there are no light except a single torch they that's why they don't get light sufficient,Same as this the huge muti-universe dosnt get enough or sufficient light from the sun, moon, stars.

We might think why the planets are getting the light from the sun because the reason the sun is hundreds of hundreds times bigger than our earth and it is having a huge radiation of light and heat hence our earth get enough light and heat energy.

But the reason that the space is dark but most scientists says that the star light and moons light is less and but the area of the universe in not defined we know planets, Galaxies, universes, and even muti-univerises but actually no one knows the space hence the area of space the light is not sufficient and it is really dark Frully dark this reason
