Hydroelectricity is declined due to following reasons
1)It had displaced the local and tribal people leaving in that area which had led to revolt against those projects.
2)It makes a large harmful damage on biodiversity and ecosystem of forests
3)It makes harmful damage on ecosystem of water and becomes a Barrier in migration of water animals
4)It leads to Water scarcity In the areas followed by the project as they don't receive Enough water.
