In spite of the very high temperature at the Earth's centre, the inner core is not in a molten state because the Great pressure at the centre raises the melting point of the rocks. Our inner core is a solid matter. And it remains solid because of its called iron-nickel which helps most the inner core become solid and other solid and hard particles of it.
