In spite of Aravallis, Rajasthan receive very less rainfall because :

● the Aravalli range of mountains lie parallel to the south west monsoon winds and doesn't really act as a barrier for the monsoon winds. This is one of the main reasons that Aravalli range isn't helpful in bringing rain to that region.

● second reason being the height of these mountains. The Aravalli mountains are very short and doesn't possess much height thus, not able to act as a barrier for the monsoon winds. Even if the Aravalli ranges had some height that could have been very helpful in bringing rain but this isn't the case.

●the third reason being that as Rajasthan lies in the last to receive the rainfall, till the monsoon wind reaches there, it already gets less humid and contains very less water to pour on the earth.

Answer: The annual rainfall in Rajasthan is less than 25cm because Aravallis ranged are parallel to the direction of south-west monsoon winds and aravallis height is so less to facilitate rain in Rajasthan , hence condensation does not occur their.
