in sea level the atmospheric pressure is of two full grown elephants sitting on us. fortunately our body exerts a counter pressure to oppose this pressure.
this is the why we feel not well in low pressure areas as the counter pressure exerted by our body is a lot. this is also the reason we are not crushed due to atmosphere.
