in sports day activities of a school three cyclists start together from the same place and can cycle 48km , 60km , and 72km a day round the field . The field is circular , whose circumference is 360km . After how many rounds they all will meet again ?sports activities are important in day to day life , why ?write two reasons

circumference   - 360 m 
  

answer- we will take the lcm of the speeds of the cyclists
that will be 48 X 60 X 72 =  207360 
then we will divide it by 360 

after 576 rounds they will met together

Now , the LCM = 720

48 - 2^4 × 3

60 - 2^2 × 3 × 5

72 - 2^3 × 3^2

LCM - 2^4 × 3^2 × 5

= 720

Given , the circumference is 360 km

1st = 360 / 48

- 7.5 days

2nd = 360 / 60

- 6 days

3rd = 360 / 72

- 5 days

For 1 day = 720 / 24 ( 1 day = 24 hours )

= 30 days

All the three cyclists will meet again after 30 days ....
