Total number of boys = 60
Number of boys who voted for cricket = 1/5 of 60 = 12 votes
So no of boys who voted for football = 60-12 = 48 votes
No. Of more votes football received than cricket = 48-12 = 36 more votes
Hope it helps

Total number of boys = 60

♧Given name of sports

◇Cricket ,

◇ Football

 \sf \: Number  \: of  \: boys  \: that \:  voted \:  for  \: cricket  =  \frac{1}{5}

So, number of boys that voted for cricket

 \sf \:  =  \frac{ \orange1}{  \cancel \pink 5}  \times  \cancel \blue{60}

 =  \orange1 \times  \blue{12}

 \blue {12}

So, the number of boys that voted for cricket are 12

Now , given that the remaining boys voted for football

So, number of remaining boys will be

 \green {\: 60} -  \blue{ 12}

 =  \red{48}

So, the number of boys that voted for football are 48

So, now we need to know that how many more votes football recieved than cricket

So, we will subtract cricket votes with football votes

 \red  {48} -  \blue {12}

 \green {\: 60} -  \blue{ 12}

 \red {36}

So, football got 36 votes more than cricket

HOPE IT HELPS✌
