Mumbai receives the highest rainfall and Chennai, Nagpur and Trivandrum receive approx the same highest rainfall but in different parts of the year. Bangalore receives the least rainfall. The highest temperature in these cities lies in the range of 20-35 but Nagpur is an exception as the highest temperature here is greater. This is due to its land locked nature and the fact that in comparison to other cities it is far from the sea.
