In Tables, data is organized in​ columns and rows.

1.Row:

  • A row can be defined as an order in which objects or data is placed horizontally or alongside.
  • In a table the arrangement runs from left to right and the total is shown at the rightmost place.
  • In Database, rows are known as records which has fields.
  • The horizontal arrays in a matrix are known as rows.

2.Columns:

  • A column can be defined as an order in which objects or data is placed vertically.
  • In a table the arrangement runs from top to bottom and the total is shown at the bottom.
  • In Database, columns are known as fields.
  • The vertical arrays in a matrix are known as columns.
